André Kerremans has been appointed the new Business Development Director of the 108 REAL ESTATE Group for Central and Eastern Europe. He assumed the position in recent days and has been working with the group’s branches in all five countries of the region since his first days on the job. His mandate rests on two equally important pillars: regional business development and CEE coordination. On the business side, he will develop cross-border projects and build relationships with key tenant contacts—real estate executives, supply chain directors, and procurement managers at major logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, and 3PL companies operating throughout the region—and will represent 108 REAL ESTATE at industry conferences and forums at the CEE level. In addition to his business role, André Kerremans will also participate in the implementation of internal processes and the introduction of innovations into real estate practice.

André Kerremans has been active in the industrial real estate market for thirty years. To date, he has worked primarily in Central and Eastern Europe, where he held senior management positions—including board memberships—at companies such as ILD, IIG, and Van Moer Logistics. He also has extensive experience with innovative information and communication technologies, financial processes, and the setup and management of operational systems.

That is exactly what we need as a group, thanks to our continuous growth. We have strong local teams in five countries; the next phase required someone who would operate across national borders—connecting our markets, managing international projects, and building relationships with senior executives that no single national team can maintain on its own. At the same time, we’ve reached a point where we can showcase numerous case studies and successful projects. We have a broad international portfolio of clients, ranging from developers and owners of development sites to end tenants and investors. André will help us expand our services and thereby establish our position on a pan-European level, says Jakub Holec, CEO of 108 REAL ESTATE.

The 108 REAL ESTATE Group is headquartered in Prague and is gradually expanding its network of branches across Central and Eastern Europe. It already provides development companies and multinational tenants with access to land and modern industrial spaces in Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and the Adriatic region. Among André Kerremans other responsibilities, therefore, are strengthening the group’s regional presence and connecting its offices and markets. He will seek out new cross-border opportunities with clients for whom 108 REAL ESTATE’s presence in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) can provide added value. To this end, he will leverage best practices in transaction structuring and client engagement, as well as the group’s strong market position in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and the Adriatic region.

In addition to his practical experience, André Kerremans brings the educational qualifications necessary for a successful tenure at 108 REAL ESTATE: he holds a bachelor’s degree in information and communication technologies from Ghent and a master’s degree in logistics management. He has gained experience working with logistics operators, warehouse tenants, and warehouse developers. For over 13 years, he was responsible for developing the logistics portfolio of the Belgian development company ILD, including in Central and Eastern Europe. He led negotiations with tenants and, once the spaces were occupied, oversaw sales to institutional investors.

André’s professional strengths include a comprehensive and detailed understanding of real estate processes. Thanks to this, he is recognized by the international professional community. However, he also earned the trust of 108 REAL ESTATE’s management thanks to his ability to lead teams across multiple countries—not only through managerial skills but also by leveraging the new technologies and processes that the group prides itself on. He will promote the use of the 108 HUB and 108 MAP platforms across all industry teams and ensure compliance with data quality standards in day-to-day business operations. Particularly in the area of implementing AI into analytics and customized services for its clients, 108 REAL ESTATE ranks among the leaders even in the European context.

In the real estate and development sector, it is not unusual to see teams with an international mix, nor is it uncommon for top managers from Western Europe to be selected for leadership positions in the CEE region. This underscores, among other things, the growing importance of these markets in a pan-European context. My task is to help lead 108 REAL ESTATE to the top of the European market. We will combine top-tier local and regional expertise and experienced, well-functioning teams with pan-European knowledge backed by numerous positive references. In building new business relationships, I will draw on my experience and contacts from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and many other countries, concludes André Kerremans, who, in addition to his native Dutch, speaks fluent English and French.
