STRONG INVESTMENT ACTIVITY ON THE CZECH MARKET CONTINUES!
In the second quarter, the investment volume reached a total of EUR 686.85 million and the second quarter of the year thus continued the strong investment activity from the first quarter. This trend is due to the stabilization of yield rates. Hotels and industrial parks continue to be an important part of this record investment activity. Many developers, as well as investment funds, are active, which is why we can observe a slight redrawing of the map of industrial park owners in the Czech Republic. There is also renewed interest in trophy assets such as premium shopping centres like Myslbek or Atrium. As has been the trend since the COVID crisis, domestic capital continues to dominate investment, accounting for approximately 66% of total volume - down from last year's 87% thanks to Blackstone's acquisition of Contera.
