Back to School: This Year’s Edition of Our Traditional “Střídačka” Was Inspired by the First Day of School

The new school year is traditionally associated with September 1st, backpacks, and new pencil cases. We decided to add to that atmosphere—and sent our clients and partners back to their desks as well. Instead of a classroom, however, we chose the Střídačka garden; instead of schoolwork, just good food and drinks; and instead of homework, no obligations—just a great get-together with everyone we meet throughout the year at trade shows, in meetings, and on projects.

In keeping with the theme, we enjoyed an afternoon and evening full of informal conversations that never stay strictly business. That’s exactly what works best at Střídačka—networking that doesn’t feel like networking, but rather like meeting up with people you look forward to seeing. It’s an annual tradition for us, and we’re understanding more and more why: the strongest relationships aren’t built around spreadsheets and presentations, but right there at a shared table.

Thank you to everyone who came. We’re not handing out report cards this time, but if we had to—they’d all be full of A’s.
