CIJ, CEE & SEE, Europe’s Real Estate digital and print news provider, hosted another year of the international CIJ Awards evening. These awards are one of the most significant events in commercial real estate in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. An expert jury committee and CIJ EUROPE readers chose the winners of each category through online voting. In Slovakia, the 17th annual awards ceremony took place on 18 November, while in the Czech Republic the gala evening for the 21st annual awards took place on 24 November.

108 AGENCY Slovakia was nominated in three categories, of which it received a winning trophy in the Best Logistics/Warehouse Real Estate Agency category. This was the fourth year in a row it won this prize, once again confirming its role as market leader in brokering industrial real estate in Slovakia. The award was given for results achieved over the past twelve months.

108 AGENCY brokered the lease of over 100,000 sq m of modern industrial premises over the past year in Slovakia. Amongst the most significant transactions realised over the past twelve months is the lease of warehouse premises in Senec to two large e-commerce players 15,000 sq m for Dedoles and 9,000 sq m for BBG. Also of note is the lease of a new production plant for renowned company MAN in Trenčín 25,000 sq m in size with an anticipated further expansion of 25,000 sq m next year.

“First of all, I would like to thank the entire 108 AGENCY team. Without their support and hard work every day, we could not have achieved best industrial real estate agency in Slovakia for the fourth year in a row. I’d also like to thank our clients for their vote of confidence in us, something I really appreciate. The CIJ Awards has confirmed that we are doing our work well, and they are also a motivation for continuous improvement and innovation in the years to come. I’m looking forward to next year, as we already have a lot of interesting projects and transactions underway, says Branislav Jendek, Managing Director at 108 AGENCY Slovakia.

108 AGENCY Czech Republic was nominated in four categories, and took away the top spot in the Best Marketing and PR Campaign for its new interactive maps project. This is an online app which makes it easier for users to get their bearings in the current industrial premises portfolio within the Czech Republic. The map provides a comprehensive overview of the current market, as well as envisaged industrial real estate, and it combines market information with macroeconomic data and is updated on a daily basis.

“We pay a lot of attention to data collection and analysis, and so I’m pleased we’ve managed to succeed in our new project, affirming its quality. This is once again great motivation to improve our tool by incorporating new functions. Thank you to the entire 108 team for their hard work, to our clients and partners for their continuing support, and to Robert Fletcher and the CIJ team for their organisation of the gala evening and the entire competition. Congratulations to all winners and participants for these great results, adds Jakub Holec, CEO and founder of 108 AGENCY.
